Unforgettable Birthday Trip!! A grumpy selfie with Animal Lovers!!!
Do you love animals, especially elephants? Then I am sure you would love to feed and bathe them too. Dubare Elephant Camp in Coorg is one such place where you can get this unique experience. As a family we believe in exploring different places, Coorg trip was a surprise planned by my husband for my birthday. Dubare elephant camp is the perfect destination for all animal lovers, you can see wild elephants coming for their regular morning bath, and my little one was super excited to see them.
Unforgettable Birthday Trip
Dubare elephant camp is functional only from 8 am- 12 pm. We noticed elephants making its way to the river around 9:30 am. All the elephants and calves were having a gala time, playing with water and relaxing. After their bathing session, elephants went to the place where they are fed. All the elephants stood in a line to be fed, the sight was very thrilling to watch. Elephants were enjoying straw and vegetables. My animal loving daughter and husband took this amazing opportunity to feed the elephants by paying a nominal charge. You can also explore the entire place and watch the notorious activities done by baby elephants. I must say, they love to strike a pose and get clicked.
We spend a good 2-3 hours at the lush green elephant camp. My animal lover husband and daughter were not ready to leave the place and come back home. This picture was clicked where I persisted them to say goodbye to the elephants, the grumpy daddy, and daughter. With a heavy heart, we had to leave the place. But, this capture is a memorable one!!!
