1. Bhangarh Fort

Bhangarh is said to be one of the most haunted historic places in the world. It is located near a popular forest and you won’t be allowed to visit this place after sunset. The story behind his town is that a magician fell in love with the local princess but the match was impossible. The magician was a master of dark magics, he cast a spell on the princess to make her fall in love with him. But, the princess got to know about this and planned to kill him. Before dying, the magician cast a spell and entire palace was doomed. This place is declared as a tourist destination. However, after the sunset this place becomes spooky and hub of all the supernatural activities.

2. D’Souza Chawl

D’Souza Chawl in Mahim is located at Mumbai and is also considered as the most haunted place in Mumbai. The story behind this place is that a lady fell into the well and died crying for help. Many have seen a woman lurking around the well and asking for help.

3. Ramoji Film City

It is most popular and biggest film cities in India. There are many hotels in this place and they are extremely famous for its supernatural activities rather than the hospitality. Many have reported that top lights keep falling off, many light men have experienced being pushed from the top, strange marks are left on the mirrors. Females are mostly targeted. In-spite of being many preventive measures it remains a haunted place. You can also visit this place if you want to experience the supernatural activities.

4.  Fernhill Hotel

This hotel is shut down after the repeated occurrence of spooky and supernatural events. This hotel gained much popularity during the shooting of Raaz movie, dance master Saroj ji and her team checked in late night and they all were kept awake because of some noise of rearranging the furniture in the room above. The dancers tried to reach the reception, but the phone was dead. When someone went down to the reception to complain, the receptionist escorted them outside to show that there were no floors above.

5.  Tunnel No 33

Beautiful Shimla also has its share of spooky stories, Tunnel number 33 is the longest tunnel connecting Shimla Kalka railway stretch. It is the straightest tunnel in the world. The construction work was given to a British engineer Captain Barog, but he failed to complete the task. Due to this he was fired from his job and went into depression. He went to the tunnel and shot himself. The tunnel construction was completed but was named after him. Still, his ghosts haunt the tunnel. Many have also seen a woman running and screaming into the tunnel.

    I can’t even handle a horror movie.. i am sure my heart is not made for these places. I have been to Ramoji ..creepy.

    Ooooo… even though am as brave as Courage, the cowardly dog, I enjoy reading and watching scary things. I’ve been to Bhangarh Fort, and the experience was a bit eerie. Which is your favourite haunted spot in India? Did you enjoy your visit?
