Keep Yourself Hydrated

Your body needs more water than it did before pregnancy. Water plays an important role in your baby’s development. Dehydration has a bad effect on your health as well as your baby’s health,  during pregnancy. You have to be very careful to avoid dehydration because it causes the problem for both the mother and the baby. Keep a water bottle within reaching distance, as it will help remind you to intake water properly. You can add natural juice, buttermilk, milk, soups into your diet. Make the boring water fun by adding in mint , little ginger and lemon, your taste buds will feel refreshed.

Have a Healthy Wholesome Diet

Everyone’s craving is different in pregnancy. You can may carve for fat, sweet, salty, protein or anything  Make sure to include everything in moderation. Pregnancy craving is important but you have to eat the best for yourself and your baby. You can prepare a high protein recipe and a wholesome meal which can help you to feel full and satisfied. Your diet should include all nutrition and minerals like calcium, iron and folate. Make sure to have a healthy wholesome 3 meals and 3 snacks everyday . You can cut plan out the meal based on your food routine.

Sound Sleep

Proper sleep plays a major role in maintaining  overall health. A sleep for seven to nine hours it is extremely important for overall health and wellness . When you are going to sleep, avoid negative thinking, screen time and don’t worry about what is going to happen during your delivery or regarding your baby. In pregnancy, you will experience an emotional imbalance so sleep helps to give a rest to your mind and body. Do meditation or some simple yoga before sleep time as it can help you stay calm and it will help promote sleep.

Staying active is good for your health and mind during pregnancy, follow some exercises daily to stay fit or a simple walking routine is also helpful . Consult your doctor about how much physical activity is good for you then you can follow the same. You can walk for some time and you can do some simple yoga moves. Don’t be a couch potato, it isnt healthy for your body and for fetus’s overall growth. At the same time don’t take risks by doing heavy exercises or physical activities.

Avoid Excessive Sugar

Increased sugar consumption  can be unhealthy for you and your unborn child.  It will spoil your health and sugar is a main cause of major complications in pregnancy. Moreover, sugar also affects your baby’s health; it may affect the baby’s memory and intelligence, gestational diabetes is a biggest issue which many women face during pregnancy. So avoid taking too much sugar content food and consume only a small amount of sugar/sugar content food. You can also switch to natural sugar. It is safer to consume sugary fruits like as apple, banana, litchi,  and mangoes, which have natural sugar, and will help balance the sugar cravings.

Avoid Alcohol and Smoking

Consuming alcohol is not good for your fitness during pregnancy time.  Moreover, in pregnancy time, mothers will need to be very cautious about this because alcohol consumption may cause the baby to be born with some disorders such as fetal alcohol syndrome, ADHD or learning disabilities. It will affect the baby’s health in an early stage of pregnancy. Smoking is also not good for you and your baby’s health. It impacts childbirth and increases the risk of premature birth.
