5 Decorating Ideas for Kids’ Rooms

My daughter is 5 years old now and is already demanding a separate room for herself. I feel, setting up a kid’s room is the best way to teach them to take care of their belongings, place, and surroundings. To make it more special I wanted to design her room with loads of love and passion. When it comes to decoration kid’s room, I follow only one mantra “Less is More”. Here are my top

5 ways  to decorate kid’s room in a super awesome way.

1. Alluring Wall Paper

Alluring Wall Paper - Photowall

I am pretty sure, there would not be a single child on earth who likes dull boring white walls. A highly definition theme-based wallpaper can instantly elevate your child’s room. It is the best and surprisingly cost-effective way to revamp the kid’s room just like that. My daughter is fond of star, planets, space, astronauts, and space ships. I came across Photowall. the best place on the internet to find alluring and high-quality wallpapers. Honestly. my little one was spoilt of choices. They have got thousands and thousands of collections. It took us good 7 days to pick a wallpaper because of the wide array of choices. The best part about investing in a wallpaper from the Photowall is, perfect packing, neat finishing and the high-quality wallpaper comes with an easy DIY kit. We took just 30 minutes to fix the wallpaper.

2. Study Corner

A kid’s room without a study corner is like a body without the soul. Invest in a comfortable study table based on your child’s height. It is best to invest in a chair that is adjustable because the kid tends to grow fast. Online classes are trending hence look for a large-sized table which can accommodate books, computer, and a night lamp.

3. Art

Art in any form that is the first stepping stone to a creative future. You can only encourage your child to be creative by keep them engrossed in a creative environment. canvas prints and posters are the best options to decorate the child’s room and let the creative juice flowing. Photowall is my one-stop destination to pick gorgeous canvas prints in various shapes and sizes. You can get the best quality canvas prints at an affordable price. 4. Lighting

The kid’s room should be full of positivity and lighting. It is also a necessity for smooth function within the room. Apart from the reading light, invest in a couple of soothing lights so that it is easy for the child to find the bathroom in the middle of the night. They should practice independent sleeping without getting anxious.

5. Showcase Board

Last but not the least, allocate a corner where your child can display their achievements, paintings, and DIYs. A magnetic board or a regular board works best in this case. It can be kept in a corner of the room, where a child notices his/her achievement automatically motivates them.

I loved your ideas and find the showcase board to be one that adds both a fun element as well encourages the child to showcase his talents, certificates and paintings. I have one for myself too, in my study.

I like the ideas mentioned in this post, though I personally prefer kids room to be of minmail decor, but they are smart enough to ask for own preferences. Showcase board is a great motivator.
